New store. Same place. Old King
This Louis XIV (a.k.a. the Sun King) statue was commissioned for the opening of a new flagship store in Place Vendôme, which marked Louis Vuitton's return to the site of its first ever store which opened there in 1854. We hand-sculpted the figure, engineering it to stand atop a glass podium and giving it an appropriately royal gilding
